With amazing line ups on all 3 stages ranging from electro, trance, dubstep, drum and bass, world, looping and instrumental, all the festival goers, artists and crew created one of the most special and smoothly run festivals Cape Town has seen for a while. There was an air of excitement, happiness and positivity throughout the whole weekend and the decor was a key feature on all three stages spanning all areas of the venue. We are truly happy to have created a long lasting memory in eveyones minds for some time to come.

Over the weekend of the 18 - 20 March 2011, the hills of Durbanville, well one particular hill to be precise, was graced with the presence some of some of the most extra-ordinary characters from Cape Town and abroad. The likes of some of the best entertainment from the Mother City and other areas of Southern Africa and even England kept the festival goers enthralled in the temporary wonderland that is The Flamjangled Tea Party.

Nestled just past a beautiful, lush forest for camping, the Origin main floor was a spectacle of colour which some even compared to the movie Avatar, at night. Over the duration of the entire weekend, glee-stricken, jovial faces were seen everywhere and laughter was heard echoing from the parking fields through the shaded camping area and onto the flowing stream beyond the dance floor. The star-studded line up had the crowd dancing till they hearts content and rocked way into the evening of Sunday. Only those who attended will still have the bass reverberating through their bodies and the memories forever in their minds.

We embarked upon the maiden voyage of musical exploration and sought undiscovered dancefloors and tropical beats.
There was Nu species to discover and new lands that lay in wait. We set sail between the coastal towns of Tuneisia, Swingapore, Jordance, Mozambeat and Twisterland!
There were some gritty adventurers, scientific apprentices, naughty natives, vegan aligators, meat eating plants, marooned explorers and a stylish headhunter or two that helped beckon in the year of Nu.

NextAid in collaboration with GoodTimes Events, Beanstalk and African Dope Records at The Assembly brought to you a very fine line-up of some of South Africa's best live artists and DJ's.
As part of the NextAid World AIDS day campaign, which ran for the month of December 2010, this fundraiser was a great night out to help ensure better futures for the less fortunate. All funds raised went to the organizations supported by chosa.org.

Riebeek Kasteel, 30 January - 1 February 2010
From the full moon on Saturday, which was too beautiful for words, to the unbelievable decor(never-before seen in South Africa) and great tunes all weekend long, we trust that everyone else had as much fun as we did.
The new venue proved to be a real winner, with enough parking for everyone, a shady and spacious dancefloor and a cool flowing river(accompanied by the 2nd dancefloor :) ) Thank you to all the crew for putting together such an amazing production, the artists for supplying us with lovely rocking tunes and everyone for making this event so special.

It was a weekend out of the extra-ordinary. The very first event of its kind to be hosted by GoodTimes Events, amazed all the eager and unexpecting crowd who came to be apart of the The Flamjangled Tea Party. With a mug in hand, to accompany the groovy, funky and talented entertainment, everyone was mesmerized by the sheer magic and festivity that spun amongst the party the entire weekend. Top acts like the Moreira Project, Hotwater, Goodluk, The Jack Mantis Band, Krushed 'n Sorted and so many more talented acts from around Africa kept everyone in high spirits along with the host for the weekend, Sister Mary James.

Once again the Earthdance crew pulled off another highly successful weekend of music, dance and awareness. The 3rd Eye Floor hosted by Nano Records included some of South Africa's most skilled and popular trance artists in the line-up. Artifakt, BioRythm, Bruce, Headroom, Parana, Pitch Hikers, Plus Minus and The Commercial Hippies were some of the stellar dj's that kept the crowd grooving.
The Music Box, which was hosted by Arcade's "Abracadabra" on the Friday and sSHADOWORKSs Saturday through Sunday was a sure win for all the fans searching for some live bands during the day and some insane electro later into the night. El Gordo, Haezer and Bruce Willis?? were part of the line-up on the Friday and Saturday's and Sunday's crowd were kept amused by Zebra and Giraffe, Crushed and Sorted, 340ML, The Real Estate Agents, New Holland, PHFat, Toby2Shoes and plenty more or South Africa's best.
With Peace Camp, helping to educate everyone about keeping healthy in your mind, body and soul and staging poetry, live performers and videos, everyone was kept entertained.
Be sure not to miss Earthdance Cape Town 2010, which promises to be even better than the last.
